Obituary for Lillian Jeanette Cure

CRAWFORDSVILLE- Lillian Dooley Cure, 92, of Crawfordsville, Indiana, beloved sister and aunt was relieved of the pain of arthritis on June 27, 2018. She was born June 29, 1925 in Parke County, Indiana to the late Purdy J. Dooley and Irene Seay Dooley. Her husband Charles F. Cure whom she married August 14, 1948 in Bloomingdale preceded her in death December 28, 2001. Also preceding her in death, were siblings, Geraldine, Eva, Ronald, Earnest, Bill, Reid, Doris and Kathleen. She will be greatly missed by her sister, Evelyn Hobson and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was a 1943 graduate of Greene Township School. Charles and Lillian owned and operated the Corner Grocery Store in Bloomingdale and later were proprietors of the Holiday Hill Motel in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She was a baseball fan especially the St. Louis Cardinals and was a nature and cat lover. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Friday, June 29, at Bethany Cemetery in Marshall with burial following.
