Obituary for Shane F. Skelton

ROCKVILLE-Shane F. Skelton, 42, of Rockville, Indiana passed away at 1:01 pm Friday, June 15, 2018 in the emergency room of Union Hospital Clinton.

He was a tool and die apprentice with Masterguard in Veedersburg.

He was born January 31, 1976 in Lebanon, Indiana to Stanley F. Skelton and Teresa McIlhenny Skelton.

Survivors include his wife, Jessica McMullen Skelton whom he married May 24, 2012 in Rockville; also surviving, his father Stanley F. (Frankie) Skelton of Lebanon; his mother, Teresa Vandivier of Rockville; his stepchildren, Emily and Avery Russell of Rockville; one brother, Shawn (Kim) Skelton of Lebanon; three sisters, Terri (Dan) O’Brien of Orlando, Florida, Dawn Skelton of Rockville and Shannon (Jim) Edington of Rockville; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley F. Skelton, III, in 1989.

He attended Rockville High School and the Marshall Federated Church.

Services will be 11:00 am Friday, June 22, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W. Howard Street, Rockville, with Celebrant Marta K. Adubato officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Thursday at Gooch Funeral Home.

Memorials should friends so desire, may be made to Muscular Dystrophy Association, 222 S. Riverside Plaza, Suite 1500, Chicago, IL 60606 in his memory.
