Obituary for Karen Sue Myers

ROCKVILLE- Karen Sue Myers, 65, of Rockville, Indiana passed away at 6:45 am Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute. She was a certified pharmacy technician for JR Pharmacy in Rockville. She began her 42year career with the former Hook’s Drugs, Revco then CVS. She was born October 6, 1952 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Tom Fordice and Carol Matthews Fordice. Her husband, William Dean Myers whom she married April 28, 1990 preceded her in death on September 14, 2000. Survivors include her son, Cody (fiancé Morgan Kelsheimer) Myers of Rockville; step daughter, Abbee Vandivier of Rockville; three brothers, twin, John Wagers of Waveland, Scott Fordice of Waveland and Richard Fordice of Bloomingdale; sister Crystal Long of Waveland; four granddaughters; several nieces and nephews; She was preceded in death by two brothers, twins, Tom and Fred Fordice; She was a 1971 graduate of Turkey Run High School. She was a member of the Marshall Federated Church, a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Paul Taylor post 1752 auxiliary and the AMVETS post 61. Services will be 11:00 am Thursday, June 7, at Gooch Funeral Home, 112 W Howard Street, Rockville, with the Rev. Perry Mager officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery, Rockville. Visitation is 4-8 pm Wednesday at Gooch Funeral Home. Online condolences may be shared at
