Obituary for James Allen Brown

ROCKVILLE- James Allen Brown, 61, of Rockville, Indiana passed away at 5:57 pm Thursday, July 27, 2017 in the Waters of Greencastle. He retired from the Canadian Pacific Railroad. He was born November 28, 1955 to the late James Fredrick Brown and Mary Allen Brown Stowe.

He is survived by his mother of Rockville, two sisters, Connie Jo Norman and Carla Moore of Rockville; three brothers David W. Brown of Rockville, Will (Nely) Stowe of Avon, Mike Stowe of Rockville; two step-sisters, Paula (Bob) Wahl and Glenda (Rick) Elliott of Medical Lake, Washington, and several nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Rockville High School and served in the United States Army for 20 years. He was a member of Wabash Valley Harley Owners Group and the American Legion Fellenzer Post 48 in Rockville.

Services will be 1:00 Tuesday, August 1, at Gooch Funeral Homes, 112 W Howard Street, Rockville, with Brother Don Perry officiating. Burial will military graveside honors will follow in Memory Garden Cemetery, Rockville. Visitation is 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Tuesday at Gooch Funeral Home.
