Obituary for Charlotte (Annie) Feister

Charlotte (Annie) Hartman Feister, age 94, went peacefully to her Lord on Wednesday, September 20, 2017.

Charlotte was born to Sherl and Agnes Overpeck Hartman on January 18, 1923. She grew up in Parke County, but spent most of her adult life in Indianapolis. She returned to the Parke County area in 2006 following the passing of her husband, Albert, after 62 years of marriage.

Charlotte is survived by two stepsons, Fred (Sharon) Feister of Greenfield, IN and Allen (Kathy) Feister of Punta Gorda, FL. She is also survived by her loving sister, Blanche Hartman (Seba) Case. In addition, Charlotte had five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson and six nieces and nephews. Her nieces and nephews are Blake (Rene) Hartman, Cynthia Hartman, Harvey (Sandy) Hartman, Celia Case (David) Gammon, Max (Betsi) Case and Susan (Kevin) Carr.

She was preceded in death her parents, her two brothers, Glenn and Lester, and her husband, Albert W.

Charlotte worked over 40 years at RCA in Indianapolis. Following her employment there, she enjoyed working several more years with the staff and students of Orchard School, also in Indianapolis. She was member of Friendly Grove Baptist Church. Charlotte will always be remembered for the love and generosity she shared with her family and friends.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:30 am Saturday, September 23, at Clear Run Cemetery in Bridgeton with Pastor Perry Mager officiating. Inurnment will follow.
